Christine Sekaggya is a clinician with experience in both rural and urban Uganda, and researcher in the area of HIV and tuberculosis. She recently completed her PhD in pharmacokinetics of antituberculosis drugs under the SOUTH study which is one of the first studies done under the collaboration between the Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI) and the University of Zurich. Christine Sekaggya has a strong interest in modelling, as well as in hematology, particularly in bleeding disorders and coagulopathies. She is a co-founder of the R4GH initiative.

In health there are solutions that will remain unknown until they are brought onto a global health platform and become a concern to everybody.
